Brad Dwyer could come into the reckoning for Swinton when they face Keighley at Leigh Sports Village on Sunday (3pm).
It’s a crucial game for the Lions as they battle to climb the Championship table against a side three point sand three places above them.
The Warrington dual-registration hooker played six games for Swinton earlier in the season before being sent on loan to Super League Huddersfield.
Dual-reg props Ben Harrison and Tyrone McCarthy could also come into contention with front rower Jack Cooper likely to miss the rest of the season with a deep groin tear.
“It looks like that’s it for Jack this season because he needs an operation,” said coach Gary Chambers.
“He’s been really good value this season and he will be a big miss for us.
“We all know how important this game is for us. We have trained well, talked about what we need to do and we are ready to go,
“The lads can’t wait and we are all looking forward to it,”
